Hosted the morning of the beatification of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, Celebrate Sheen will bring together speakers and musicians to honor Archbishop Sheen, to pray together, and to be inspired by his life and holiness.
Why We Celebrate
More than entertainment, Celebrate Sheen is an opportunity to pray, reflect, and rejoice together as we honor the life and legacy of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen and prepare to witness his Beatification.
A beatification is not primarily about honoring the individual being beatified. Archbishop Sheen is already with the Lord. Rather, a beatification is a gift to the Church. Celebrate Sheen is an opportunity to receive that gift with grateful hearts and renewed faith.
What to Expect
Celebrate Sheen brings together inspiring Catholic voices from across the Church for a morning of prayer, music, and reflection as we prepare for the Beatification Mass.
Guiding the program will be Katie Prejean McGrady, host of The Catholic Channel on SiriusXM, and Msgr. Roger Landry, Archbishop Fulton Sheen's successor as National Director of The Pontifical Mission Societies.
Featured speakers include Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Archbishop Emeritus of New York, and Sr. Josephine Garrett, CSFN, nationally known Catholic speaker and author.
Music will also be at the heart of the celebration, with worship led by acclaimed Catholic recording artist Matt Maher and Dave and Lauren Moore of the Catholic Music Initiative. Their music will help prepare hearts for the sacred liturgy and unite thousands of pilgrims in prayer and praise as the Church gathers for this historic occasion.
More guests and special moments will be announced as the celebration draws near.

To mark this historic occasion, religious sisters and lay volunteers from around the world have lovingly handcrafted World Mission Rosaries that will be given to every Beatification participant. Together, thousands of pilgrims will pray this beautiful rosary, led by representatives of The Pontifical Mission Societies, offering one united prayer for the Church throughout the world.

Timothy Dolan was named Archbishop of New York by Pope Benedict XVI on February 23, 2009. He had served as Archbishop of Milwaukee, appointed there by Pope Saint John Paul II on June 25, 2002.
Born February 6, 1950, Cardinal Dolan was the first of five children born to Shirley and Robert Dolan. His education began at Holy Infant Parish School in Ballwin, Missouri, and continued through the high school and college seminaries in Saint Louis. He then completed his priestly formation at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, where he earned a License in Sacred Theology at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas.
Ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Saint Louis on June 19, 1976, he served as associate pastor at Immacolata Parish in Richmond Heights, Mo., until 1979 when he began studies for a doctorate in American Church History at The Catholic University of America.
His Eminence, Cardinal Timothy Dolan
Sister Josephine is a member of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth and a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics with a Business concentration from the University of Dallas.
She currently ministers in private practice in rural East Texas, where she specializes in trauma treatment and counseling for children and adolescents. Her work is rooted in a commitment to serving underserved communities, bringing both clinical expertise and compassionate accompaniment to those in her care.
She contributes her voice at the intersection of faith and mental health, having authored three books, including her most recent, Wilderness of the Heart: A Healing Journey to Love Boldly and Serve Freely. She is also the host of the Hope Stories Podcast and serves on the boards of Walking with Purpose and Life Teen.
Sr. JoSEPHINE GARRETT
Monsignor Roger J. Landry is National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies in the United States. A priest of the Diocese of Fall River, he is also a Papal Missionary of Mercy, and during the National Eucharistic Revival, he served as a National Eucharistic Preacher and helped lead the Seton Route of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage from New Haven, CT, to Indianapolis.
A graduate of Harvard College and the Pontifical North American College in Rome, he has served as Attaché to the Holy See’s Permanent Observer Mission to the United Nations in New York, Catholic Chaplain at Columbia University, Ecclesiastical Assistant to Aid to the Church in Need USA, and has been a pastor, newspaper editor, and high school chaplain in the Diocese of Fall River.
He has served as onsite commentator for EWTN’s coverage of the papal conclaves that elected Pope Francis and Pope Leo as well as the funerals of Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis. He writes for many publications, appears regularly on television, radio, and podcasts, and is the author of Plan of Life: Habits to Help You Grow Closer to God (Pauline Books and Media 2018).

Monsignor Roger J. LanDRy
Katie Prejean McGrady is a wife, mom, award-winning author, international speaker, podcast & SiriusXM Catholic Channel host.
After working in youth ministry and high school education for a number of years, Katie began speaking full time in 2017, averaging over 100,000 miles a year traveling to speak at events for young people, parishes, parent groups, fundraisers, retreats, religious education conferences, and more.
Katie is the author of six books with Ave Maria Press. She began working with Ave Maria Press in 2019 to help create digital and audio content for Ave Explores, an award winning podcast and multi-media project digging into various Catholic topics relevant to people who want to learn more and live their faith in a real, practical way.
She hosts the Ave Explores podcast, a long-form interview style show that topics relevant topics each season.
Katie and her husband, Tommy, are the hosts of Family Mass Prep on Hallow, a weekly podcast for families to get ready to hear and pray with the Sunday Mass readings.
Katie regularly writes for Blessed is She, Our Sunday Visitor, Aleteia, and other Catholic outlets. She is a Vatican Analyst for CNN, and has consulted for the USCCB working group on youth and young adult ministry.
Since 2021, Katie has hosted The Katie McGrady Show, the morning show on The Catholic Channel on Sirius XM 129. Every day from 7:30 to 10 a.m. ET she tackles pop culture, current events, Catholic news, how to live a life of abundant joy, explores Church history, fields callers and introduces listeners to a variety of engaging, dynamic, and profoundly inspiring guests.

Matt Maher is a multi GRAMMY® nominee and five-time GMA Dove Award® winner who has become a cornerstone in the Christian music and songwriting community since his 2008 major-label debut. Matt Maher
Dave Moore is a producer and singer-songwriter who wants to help people encounter God more deeply through music. He served as the Director of Music and Liturgy for the National Eucharistic Congress and is the founder and president of the Catholic Music Initiative (CMI), a non-profit apostolate dedicated to restoring the primacy of praise, theological accuracy, and singability of music in the Mass. Dave and his wife, Lauren, also serve as televised Mass musicians and Consultants for the Diocese of Dallas. Under the direction and blessing of Bishop Edward Burns this ministry served over 250,000 households (Aprox. 1.2 Million Catholics) during the pandemic and today, it still blesses the homebound and nursing homes across North Texas and beyond. In all things, Dave seeks to build a bridge between contemporary and traditional expressions of worship, drawing the faithful into fuller participation in the Liturgy and the life of the Church. He resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Lauren, and their daughter.
